I made this short film and music piece to display as a stop gap measure as a proposed exhibition at the Catle at Monticello was postponed. It was originally intended to be projected in the chapel at Monticello. It explores the myth that the blood of Christ is life whilst contrasting it with the millions that have been killed in the name of Religion. It uses strong imagery and microscopic film of blood and sperm indicating the biological source of life as opposed to the mythical. It was displayed on a small monitor and the music takes the homeless mans voice from Gavin Bryars composition "Jesus Blood Never Failed Me" and re configures a new musical setting as the voice transforms to "Jesus Blood Always Failed Me".
